Sweet Pea - 'Matucana'
(Lathyrus odoratus)
Striking bicolour blooms in wine red and mauve-blue. Closely bred from the original 'Cupani' wild type sent from Sicily to Britain in 1699. While its stems are slightly shorter making for smaller cut flower bouquet, Matucana is incredibly vigorous and considered one of the most fragrant of all the sweet peas. 10/10 for scent + vigour + beauty.
CAUTION: all parts of the sweet pea plant including the seeds are toxic to humans and animals. Not to be eaten. The purchaser assumes all liability relating to the use of this product.
