Melissa Oil

AU$30.00Price

To support sleep, stress, relaxation and recovery:::
When applied topically this herbal oil has mild sedative qualities which assist greatly with insomnia and supporting sleep. Experiment with the dosage and work your way up, as too much can make you a bit drowsy. Lemon Balm also has antiviral properties and offers strong support if ever HSV herpes simple virus or coldsores should arise. As well as holding anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. This Melissa oil encourages as much space as possible for relaxation and recovery. Our rested bodies and dreams of renewal are needed as we imagine and create a new world together. May the smell of this oil bring reminders of the vital energy of perennial soft green leaf tips reemerging from the soil after a Winter slumber, bringing appreciation for the turning of the seasonal wheel and the return of growth. Lemon Balm scent alone brings me such feelings of calmness and restored hope.

Suggested Use: Massage up to 20 drops into the soft skin of inner arm, inner thigh, ears or soles of feet when sleep support is needed. Apply topically and directly as often needed as an antiviral for herpes, chickenpox, shingles and coldsores. Can also be used as a relaxing massage oil or moisturiser for face and body, best applied before rest/sleep. Safe for babies.

Ingredients: organically grown Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) infused in organic olive oil

  • What is Mutual Aid? Who am I "paying forward" to?

In our attempt to make plant medicines more accessible for all, Seed Medicine Garden sends regular free medicine donations to communities as needs arise. In the past this has included Indigenous activists, youth leaders and trans youth, as well as homeless single mothers, refugees and members of the disabled community.

When you "pay forward" 1 or 2 products, you will still receive one (or selected quantity) of your chosen medicine as well as donating the credit for 1 or 2 products to go towards our herbal mutual aid projects.

There seems to be an increasing call for plant support through these times and we are continually seeking pathways to those who need it most. Please contact us: connect@seedmedicine.garden if you or a community you know is without financial means but needing herbal care.
