Milky Oats Tincture

Milky Oats Tincture

To feed + replenish depleted adrenals :::
One of my personal favourites + absolute go-to plant allies for support through years of chronic trauma, Milky Oats has so much to offer so many of us through times of stress + overwork by deeply feeding and replenishing depleted adrenals while nourishing our nervous systems. Milky Oats actually coats our nerve synapses giving so much more resilience to cope with the day when stressed or anxious; and its anti-depressive and nervine alkaloids (trigonelline and avenine) have been lovingly extracted into this potion along with the abundance of minerals and nutrients that this plant offers, including the highest levels of Potassium and Magnesium at this milky stage. So if you’re seeking immediate support for a frazzled nervous system, over-worked adrenals, feelings of burnout, anxiety or depression then this tincture has got your back! It truly is a parent’s best friends and the most supportive medicine for anyone in the workforce, anyone trying to survive late stage capitalism or anyone alive during the pandemic right now!

My relationship, love and care for this plant runs DEEP, sitting amongst these fields, saining them with Mugwort and offering honey water as was Gaelic tradition, plucking each of their immature, plump seed heads by hand, over so many hours and I trust that you too will feel held by this precious milky medicine.

Recommended Dosage: Shake well before use! Take 20-40 drops as needed, up to 3 times/day, in water or in tea during stressful times.

Ingredients: organically grown MILKY OATS (Avena sativa) in neutral grape alcohol (40-70%)

50 ml

Please remember: while these plant medicines are crafted with intentions to support you through times of trauma or stress, they are not meant to replace community support or a good doctor/therapist. If you need help, please seek it. You deserve it.

  • What is Mutual Aid? Who am I "paying forward" to?

In our attempt to make plant medicines more accessible for all, Seed Medicine Garden sends regular free medicine donations to communities as needs arise. In the past this has included Indigenous activists, youth leaders and trans youth, as well as homeless single mothers, refugees and members of the disabled community.

When you "pay forward" 1 or 2 products, you will still receive one (or selected quantity) of your chosen medicine as well as donating the credit for 1 or 2 products to go towards our herbal mutual aid projects.

There seems to be an increasing call for plant support through these times and we are continually seeking pathways to those who need it most. Please contact us: if you or a community you know is without financial means but needing herbal care.
